About

Faldouet Lodge's renovation blends period charm with modern elegance, featuring a new kitchen and sunroom.
Faldouet Lodge, a period property, underwent a significant renovation to restore its charm and functionality. The tired extension on the south elevation made way for a more suitable structure, complementing the existing architecture.

Major engineering works supported the southeast corner of the house to accommodate the kitchen/sunroom extension. The project featured Alsan liquid applied roof membrane, period-matched lead roofs, and hardwood facias and soffits, enhancing durability and aesthetic appeal. An aluminium roof lantern, concealed by lead-capped parapet walls, adds a touch of contemporary elegance.

Plaster quoins, bands, and keystones adorn the exterior, while natural stone paving completes the transformation. Inside, a new kitchen seamlessly integrates modern amenities with period charm, offering a perfect blend of functionality and style.
